KARMI have made systematic efforts for enabling primary education, women literacy, and vocational education for the all round development of the community.
The main programme of KARMI is the development of Agriculture based on rural livelihood through use of modern technology with climate justice, enhance production, capacity building of farmers and market linkage. Conduct impact study and assess their level of progress in terms of watershed development, sustainable agricultural practice, farming skill, market linkage and applied sustainable methods of farming by using green manure and popularized indigenous knowledge of diversion based irrigation, farm forestry, bio fertilizer, pest management and poison free cop growing.
People organization acts as a platform where they can be identify, analyze their problems and find out the better solution by themselves to solve their problems. KARMI to achieve the objective given special emphasis on Villages committees promotion, formation of youth clubs and women organization, self-help groups and device a common platform and net working with their capacity building, from village to CLO and BLO level based on issues and provide training and inputs to became a full-fledged association to solve their local problems as well buildup a strong networking and empower on right and advocacy.
KARMI has been undertakes activities based on community health management to mobilize the rural poor especially the tribal people, woman and children on community health awareness and preventive majors. So we takes projects and programmes for promotion of community health awareness, health camps, women and child care, promotion of kitchen gardening, and build up Para health workers and linked with government health programmes for sustainable health management in rural and tribal inaccessible pockets.
